I think we've finally made it to a completely happy place! The first few weeks were...well pretty confusing. It's amazing that the worst time in your life can also be the best! I guess that's just something the NICU does for you! Lexi is in the clear, these days! Nathan and I have never been happier! My favorite part of the day is first thing in the mornings. I usually put Lexi in the bed with us after her 6 am bottle and she'll go back to sleep for a little bit. When she does wake up, we spend time just laying there with her. Watching her smile, listening to her giggle. It's the most amazing thing in the world, and I wouldn't trade this time for anything!!

3 Months Later
